Final Results after 9races

The Prizegiving takes place with lots of goodies for the successful sailors - all gather outside for a photo - email me if you would like an electronic copy timyeates@caldo.co.uk

5:00pm Apologies for the lack of updates today - the racing has now been completed with 5 races sailed today. A mixture of generally light airs with the occassional gust & some sunshine has given all the sailors an opportunity to race in quite comfortable conditions.

Sunday 10:20 - Day 2 - the fleet has just launched & racing will go ahead on Schedule - a much lighter wind for the sailors to play with today.

Results for Day1 after 4 races


4:40 - the end of Race 4 & the PRO has decided that there will be no more racing today - the weary fleet is coming ashore

3:55pm - race 3 finished - wow! that was a windy one, plenty of white water surfing downwind & tough conditions upwind. A number of sailors have returned to shore but we are now in sequence for Race 4.

1:15pm Race 2 is underway & there is Sun! & enough wind for some to be fully hiked & a few spills

11:55 - The Fleet has Launched for Race 1 of the 10 race National Championship series


We have a little wind & some rain as the Topper 4.2's prepare


9:20am Saturday - its raining at Leigh as the competitors arrive - the smell of cooking breakfasts is very tempting for the supporters whlst the sailors are on something a little more healthy!
